RB Mark Ingram – Alabama

Runningback Mark Ingram 2011 NFL Draft

Ingram is the son of former New York Giants wide receiver Mark Ingram Sr. Ingram had a breakout 2009 season when he ran for more than 1600 yards and won the Heisman trophy, but in 2010 he battled a left knee injury throughout the season and was not the same player he was in ’09. Ingram is a tough downhill runner who is a load to take down, has impressive patience and instincts, has a natural way of catching the ball out of the backfield. He is an instinctive runner after the catch and does a good job protecting the ball to avoid fumbles. Ingram will end up being a good starting tailback in the NFL who grinds out the tough yards, contributes catching passes and makes the occasional big play.
