LB Robert Quinn – North Carolina

Linebacker Robert Quinn 2011 NFL Draft

Given his instincts, Quinn has the talent to be an elite rush linebacker in the NFL. He’s been overshadowed by other draftees after being suspended his final year due to an investigation due to receiving improper benefits. He’s explosive off the ball, has a nasty spin move to beat tackles inside or outside and has the closing speed to finish plays. He flashes the burst off the  ball to get into the backfield and stop the runningback, sniffs out screen passes with his skill and instincts and gets hands up quickly to tip passes. He has the elite closing burst to tackle tight ends at the line of scrimmage, does a good job making tackles with his knees bent & is shockingly productive against the inside run. An extreme rare and elite athlete, Quinn has too much skill to be passed over in the draft due to off the field incidents.
